URBAN SOUNDS ARGENTINA

Hi there, my name is Fernando David Vizgarra (DJ Sonny) and this is a personal project that I am raising with the intention to promote what I am doing since 20 years ago as an Amateur DJ, and also promote the material that I use to execute my weekly episodes, which I baptized as Urban Sounds Argentina, task that in no way pretends to violate the rights of the authors of the tracks I use of the many artists of the different genres that I use, nor to take advantage of it, on the contrary, promoting them through my sessions, giving them my support from my humble position.-

But this project more than anything, is mainly done and for what I consider one of the most important things in my life ... MUSIC, I LOVE MUSIC AND I LOVE WHAT I DO, and this is just to express my emotions and channel my feelings through it, as I did since I was 16, because I found the way to live my sorrows through what I had begun to do, words and hugs did not work, only MUSIC.-

INFLUENCES, STYLES AND GENRES

Between 8 and 10 years of age (1987), in my city, Santiago del Estero Argentina, different commercial electronic music artists of that era were heard, such as Baltimora, Alphaville, Pet Shop Boys, to name a few. Which already caused me a certain attraction for their sounds, but it was not until 1990, when I started high school and when my partner made me listen to "Violator" of the Depeche Mode, these synthesizers and basses, was without I doubt what started to feed my ears, as did Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers or Prodigy in the mid 90's.

The 90's was a golden era of commercial electronic music all over the world, but the most popular in my city, in my opinion, was without a doubt the "Commercial House" genre and its sub genres like Tribal, Tech, or Deep, which sounded a lot in the clubs and the radios, much more than the "Euro Dance" that also was part of the repertoire in the booths of the popular clubs of those years and the radios. Although I always felt identified with the "Commercial House", it was not until the beginning of the year 2000 that a Radio Fm "Power 89.9 Mhz" broadcast of my city, had a program called "Mixing", which had Resident DJs Adrian Zerda and Ariel Ruiz, one of the best DJs in my city whom I admire and respect, and it was thanks to them that I had my first experiences "Underground" in the House genre, because the tracklist of Mixing were producers like Chus & Ceballos, Frank Maurel, Peace Division, to name a few again... then we stepped on another field, my ear had already tried something different, something new.

It was then that we met personally with Adrian Zerda, we had a friend in common and we had meetings to spend music in the evenings with cd players, and so the friendship was formed (to this day) and we decided together with other colleagues to form The First Grouping of Electronic Music in Santiago del Estero, the "Hitek Project", in which we were already 4 DJs involved with different styles and underground genres, the private parties, events and radio programs we went to as guests were sessions from Deep House, Tribal House, Tech House, Tribal Techno, Techno Detroit and Techno Schranz, with productions by Mauro Piccotto, Monika Kruse, Sven Vath, Amok, Carl Cox, etc, and although the group prospered a few years 2002-2005) was a strong influence on the musical genres that I discovered in those years thanks to that group.

Then came the years of Trance and Progressive Trance, between 2008-2011 together with a great DJ and friend Daniel Pavon (DJ Impolutto), was part of a time of his program "Global Trance", which was transmitted through Radio Fm "NRG" (Energy), from the city of Buenos Aires, my first sessions were productions from Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Martin Roth, John O'Callaghan, very "Uplifting", and after few months later more Progressive as Markus Schulz, Jay Lumen, MatZo, Protoculture, Basil O'Glue, Arcalis, Aaron Camz, etc.

All these genres were forging my sound and style, today my sessions range from Ezequiel Anile, Matias Chilano, Chicola, Following Light, Marcelo Vasami, Ezequiel Arias, Robert R. Hardy, Guy J, Khen, D-Formation, Rick Pier O ' Neil, Animal Picnic, Pig & Dan, Brian Cid, etc.

Being an Amateur DJ that nobody knows, maybe my words do not endorse everything I write, but from my personal experience, I can only say that being a DJ is about emotions and feelings, expression, passion and love for music, to meet oneself through it.

With these boys we formed the group, this is a weekly supplement that was accompanied in the local news newspaper of my city (August 24, 2002)
